Manufactured since 1966, Windy sport cruisers and yachts are handcrafted in two production facilities in Scandinavia. Headquartered in Arendal, Norway, the birthplace of Windy. The flagship factory manufactures the 25 Mirage up to the 43 Typhoon. The larger vessels, the 52 Xanthos, 53 Bailos and 58 Zephros are meticulously handcrafted in Vastervik, Sweden .
To ensure your safety and stability in any type of seas, rest assured your Windy can handle it. All of our boats are rigorously tested in offshore conditions in the North Sea and all carry, at minimum, a Class B Certified Hull rating.

To expand on the Class B rating, this is an off shore rating awarded to vessels which meet or exceed the demanding standards required by RINA (Registro Italiano Navale Association). Vessels which receive this rating must meet an array of standards such as water tight bulkheads, a one piece floor which runs the entire length of the boat, perfect weight distribution and must be able to easily withstand 12 ft. seas and 40 knot winds. The only higher rating is Class A, which we are proud to announce, has been awarded to our 52 Xanthos, 53 Bailos and 58 Zephyros. Normally a rating reserved for commercial vessels such as cruise ships, few pleasure craft manufacturers' products meet these standards.
Win-Tec Hull Performance Technology is a high tech laminate recipe designed to ensure superior performance strength and rigidity for all Windy Boats. Theses hulls are all reinforced with an advanced multiaxial fiberglass matt inlaid with Divinycell. This ensures a solid and quiet ride and eliminates any pounding, banging or wave slap noises that you may have experienced in the past.
The cabin interiors of all the boats are quite simply exquisite. The cabinetry work is all manufactured with the finest quality of solid woods from around the world which are meticulously handcrafted where curves and joints mesh together seamlessly.
