Windy USA is pleased to announce that we will be an active participant in the “2006 Volvo Ocean Race” which takes place in New York City May 9th through the 11th, 2006.

Windy USA will be providing 2 boats, the 34 Khamsin and the 40 Bora which will serve as Escort, Chase and Media boats for this event.

These boats will be berthed at the North Cove Harbor in lower Manhattan during the event and festival type events have been planned which will take place around the World Financial Center Plaza and Promenade that surrounds the Yacht Harbor.

Harborside Marina of Westbrook Connecticut will be the Windy host dealer for this event and will be on hand to talk and show the Windy brand and would be happy to schedule sea trials and private showings of the complete Windy line of Sport Cruiser and Yachts.
